Some Microsoft Certifications will be Retired on January 31, 2021

To keep the latest Microsoft technologies are reflected in the Microsoft certifications, some Microsoft current and planned certifications will be retired on January 31, 2021. 1. MCSA: Dynamics 365 for Operations

MCSA: Dynamics 365 for Operations certification demonstrates your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies to implement the basic technical and development tasks required to customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-764 OR 70-765 exam and MB6-894 test.

2. MCSA: BI Reporting

MCSA: BI Reporting certification demonstrates your expertise in analyzing data with both Power BI and Excel. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-778 and 70-779 exams. 

3. MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Admin

MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Admin certification demonstrates your skills with database installation, maintenance, configuration, and provisioning tasks. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-764 and 70-765 exams. 

4. MCSA: SQL 2016 BI Development

MCSA: SQL 2016 BI Development certification validates your extract, transform, and load (ETL) and data warehouse skills, along with those for implementing BI solutions using multidimensional and tabular data models and online analytical processing (OLAP) cubes. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-767 and 70-768 exams. 

5. MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Dev

MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development certification demonstrates your skills as a database professional, for both on-premises and cloud-based databases. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-761 and 70-762 exams. 

6. MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014

MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 certification demonstrates your skills and breakthrough insights in developing and maintaining the next wave of mission-critical environments. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-461, 70-462 and 70-463 exams. 

7. MCSA: Universal Windows Platform

MCSA: Universal Windows Platform certification demonstrates your expertise at implementing Universal Windows Platform apps that offer a compelling user experience across a wide range of Windows devices. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-483 and 70-357 exams. 

8. MCSA: Web Applications

MCSA: Web Applications certification demonstrates your expertise at implementing modern web apps. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-480 OR 70-483 and 70-486 exam.

9. MCSA: Windows Server 2012

MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification proves your mastery of the primary set of Windows Server 2012 skills required to reduce IT costs and deliver more business value. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-410, 70-411 and 70-412 exams. 

10. MCSA: Windows Server 2016

MCSA: Windows Server 2016 certification proves your mastery of the primary set of Windows Server 2016 skills required to reduce IT costs and deliver more business value. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-740, 70-741 and 70-742 exams. 

11. MCSD: App Builder

MCSD: App Builder certification validates that you have the skills needed to build modern mobile and/or web applications and services. To earn this certification, you need to pass ONE of the following three exams: 70-357, 70-486 and 70-487 exams.

12. MCSE: Business Applications

MCSE: Business Applications certification validates that you have the expertise to work with and manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies. To earn this certification, you need to pass ONE of the following exams: MB2-716, MB2-718, MB2-719, MB6-895, MB6-896, MB6-897 and MB6-898 exams. (Note: MB2-718, MB2-719, MB6-895 and MB6-896 exams have been retired.)

13. MCSE: Core Infrastructure

MCSE: Core Infrastructure certification validates that you have the skills needed to run a highly efficient and modern data center, identity management, systems management, virtualization, storage, and networking. To earn this certification, you need to pass ONE of the following exams: 70-744, 70-745, 70-413, 70-414 and 70-537 exams. 

14. MCSE: Data Management & Analytics

MCSE: Data Management and Analytics certification demonstrates your broad skill sets in SQL administration, building enterprise-scale data solutions, and leveraging business intelligence data–both on-premises and in cloud environments. To earn this certification, you need to pass ONE of the following exams: 70-764, 70-465, 70-466, 70-467, 70-762, 70-767, 70-768 and 70-777 exams.

15. MCSE: Productivity

MCSE: Productivity certification validates that you have the skills needed to move your company to the cloud, increase user productivity and flexibility, reduce data loss, and improve data security for your organization. To earn this certification, you need to pass 70-345, 70-339 and 70-333 exams. 

All the above Microsoft certifications will be retired on January 31, 2021, and all the related exams will be also retired on January 31, 2021.
