Avaya ASTA will Replace ACIS and ACSS Certifications after February 28, 2025

News from Avaya official website, Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) and Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) will be replaced by Avaya Services Technical Associate (ASTA). This change will take effect on March 1, 2025. Avaya's goal is to create a more unified and simplified credentialing system. In the past, ACIS and ACSS certifications were offered separately, with different evaluation approaches for services technicians. By introducing the ASTA program, Avaya is consolidating the two certifications into one streamlined offering. 

Transition to ASTA

Starting March 1, 2025, individuals holding a valid ACIS and/or ACSS certification will automatically be granted the ASTA credential, which will not have an initial expiration date. This transition ensures that those who have already invested time and effort into earning the ACIS and ACSS certifications will continue to be recognized for their achievements. They will retain their existing ACIS and ACSS certifications until the expiration date shown on their certification records, ensuring a smooth transition without loss of value.
